A while ago i wrote about A messy blog is a unpopular blog, but at what stage does it get cluttered?
I’ve been adding loads of features to my blog as you can see but i see it starting to get cluttered i feel as if either my ads or my features need to be minimized a lot, but these features are brilliant it allows you the readers to add things to other websites or give you extra information which can be very handy, but on the other side the advertising is something i need so i can keep the website running.
I wont be supprised if every weblogger gets to this stage thinking how do i clean it up?
This is the very hard part of web designing judging at what point people don’t want to look at your site because its a mess, so the main key is putting the handy things small enough so that they can see it but so its not making a mess of the site.
But thinking about the adverts for a minute you can’t and wouldn’t want to hide these really because you want people to see them so here its just messing around with the colours trying to get them to fit in good enough.

You might want to consider a fixed width design for your blog… I think it looks a little cluttered also because of the font size difference between a header and a non header is not big enough. Try out a font size 28 or something for your post header, and it will bring out to the reader immediately what he or she should focus on.
I also noticed that there isn’t a link back to the home page of your blog (which is normally the title at the top).
Yeah i made this design pritty much on the fly it really buggy, i think i might just go back and remodel the default one for wordpress.
Edit: I changed it to WordPress Classic and did a couple of changes i hope you like it.
